Costa Rica Fashion Week

The International Fashion Week of Costa Rica is the fashion event with the longest history in Costa Rica and Central America, and continues to reinvent itself.

“I am aware of the change that must be made in Costa Rican fashion in order to enhance talent and position ourselves internationally. Likewise, build a solid industry that generates employment, income, and exports for the country. That is why, together with my team, we seek to make national talent visible on digital platforms, accompanying designers with the best experts from the Latin American region" says Karina Díaz, designer and director of the event.

The organization has also incorporated an educational focus into the event, through alliances with the Istituto Marangoni, the Latin American Fashion Summit (LAFS), and the National Learning Institute (INA).
